And now for dessert!  Yesterday, I shared that we threw an outdoor themed bridal shower for my brother and his fiance.  (See the post here.)  Because they love the camping, hiking, and canoeing, we tied in the outdoors in the buffet table decor, menu and favors.

But they are also mountain climbers (yes, literally), so we decided on an all-white snowy dessert table.  I called it “Mountain Climber’s Delight.”  The sign is coated in sparkling sugar.  Desserts were both store-bought and homemade.

I bought the white furry fleece at a craft store, arranged boxes underneath along with white lights.  The glow was beautiful, but hard to capture in photographs!

Store bought desserts included:  The Cake, Hershey’s White Chocolates, Snowballs, Pearlized Sixlets, Taffy, Almond Brickle, White Pretzels, Zero Candy Bars, White Chocolate Kit Kats and Mini-Marshmallows just for display.

Homemade Desserts:  White chocolate covered Oreos, Nutter Butters, Rice Krispy Treats, Haystacks with peanuts and coconut, and Marshmallow Pops.  This was my first time dipping in chocolate.  I still need practice on making it pretty!

It was a sugary sweet overload, but completely delicious!
